Remember how I was sure that my house ate the hat I made for a friend’s baby? Turns out, it didn’t. Sorry, house. I guess I left it in a bag at my parent’s house – I had intended to take it with me on a search for buttons and then forgot. Luckily for me it was found by my sister and not tossed out. So a few weeks later than I had planned, I added two buttons and sent it back to Utah to keep a tiny head warm for the winter.
Not too much later I finished up the first of what will end up being 4 Kittyville hats (at this point, 3 are done) for the winter season. I had intended this one for my niece, Lucia, but without her here to try it on, I wasn’t sure of sizing and it ended up being too small. But it fit Sophie perfectly.
Any time “outside” is mentioned, she runs to the closet, digging in the hat bin, requesting her “meow.” I’m more than happy to oblige.
