I remember that day three years ago. Lucia and I were waiting and waiting and it just took so long to see Ella. We smeared the glass windows of the nursery watching her first bath and waiting to see her all pink and new. When we drive past the hospital I have to stop myself from telling Lucia for the umpteenth time that Ella was born in that same hospital as was I. I'm so glad for technology to be able to share photos, videos, and even video phone calls with Ella as she changes and grows. Oh, and Ella, I will always have gum. Love you!
